Lash Blast Makeover........ Check this out!

I really don't know why but I have a thing for lashes. In my opinion, whether real or fake, a nice set of lashes makes the whole face look better. Along with nicely groomed brows, of course. Lately, I have been wearing strips but that has been mainly for the sake of pictures and my tutorials. But the lashes that I really love are the Ardell natural flare lashes. I wore those for the past five years. I love this particular brand because they are long lasting and depending on how you apply them, they really do look real. If you are looking for something that will spice up your look then this is it. Check out my lash tutorial on my youtube channel, Kingdom Beauty(simply put) on visual instructions on how to do lashes. If you are too scared for that feel free to give me call if you live in this area. Business line (727) 394-3756 and ask for Fancy. You can purchase these lashes at any beauty supply store, CVS, or Sally's. I think they are three dollars a pack. You can get two uses out of them. And just for the record, if for any reason you are wearing a pack or more at one time then you are wearing way to many lashes and chances are it looks like to have bird feathers on your eyes. Im just saying..... lol Anyway, below are some before and after pics of a client's lashes that I did this week. Enjoy....................

Glam'Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara...Product Review CHECK THIS OUT!

I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT. Did I mention that I LOVE IT?  I kinda stumbled upon this mascara because CVS was having a 75% percent off sale. It looked pretty so I got it. I mean two dollars for mascara was a good price especially when it is eight dollars at full price. So I bought it and from the first time I used it I have been in love. Rimmel's Glam'Eyes Lash Flirt mascara is well worth the price at full price. It does exactly what was advertised. It creates volume and lifts lashes. Absolutely beautiful. I used it on my strip lashes and my natural ones and it had the same effect on them both. So if you are looking for a new mascara this one is definitely it. Ladies enjoy......

5 Keys for Healthy Hair for African American Women.... CHECK THIS OUT!

One of the biggest complaints that I hear from African American women is "I can't get my hair to grow like yours." The truth of the matter is, yes you can. Everybody's hair grows at a different speed but most of that has to do with age and genetics. But the fact still remains that your hair does grow. Whether it be a half of an inch a month and an inch and a half a month, it still grows. The key is to take care of whatever does grow. The more you nurture your hair the more results you'll see. So in this blog entry I will go over the five most important keys to proper hair growth for healthy hair. Of course there are more but these are the main ones. The first one is you must eat and sleep right. A full eight hours of sleep a night is very important when it comes to the health of your hair. A full balanced meal is just as important. There are vitamins in foods, especially natural foods, that are vital to the strength and elasticity of your skin and hair. Do not skip fruits and vegetables and DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! That is something I struggle with but it must be done. Hydrating your hair and skin begins within. I honestly believe that 85% percent of the African American struggle for women with our hair and skin comes from a lack of water. If you suffer from dandruff, dry hair, brittle hair, acne, and dry skin, IT IS FROM LACK OF WATER. Please ladies increase your intake. The second thing is, make sure you shampoo and condition your hair on a regular basis. The reason for this is shampoo will strip your hair and scalp of any oils and dirt that may clog your pores and stunt hair growth. I know we believe that a dirty scalp will make our hair grow but the truth is your scalp wants to breathe. Conditioning your hair will restore moisture, vitamins and the proper oils that your hair needs in order to have that natural shine and elasticity. This is very important if you do a lot of heat styling. When hair breaks off that means that it is dry and unhealthy. A way to figure this out is to take a strand of your hair and pull it from both ends. If it immediately pops and breaks, it is unhealthy and needs moisture. Healthy hair stretches. So if the strand stretches a little before it breaks then you are on the right path. Okay the third thing is consistency. Come up with a system and stick to it. For example when my hair is out, I shampoo and condition it every two weeks. If it by any chance gets too dirty or heavy before that then I cowash it. I get my relaxers every six weeks(if you have thin or fine hair it should be every 8-12 weeks). I flat iron my hair once a week but I wrap my hair every night. And throughout the summer months I wear weaves and braids to protect my hair and give it a break.<<<<<<<<<<SEE MY HAIR IS USE TO A PATTERN. The fourth thing is dont ever sleep on your hair. Always wrap it up at all times. The friction from sleeping on it makes your hair weak and strips it of moisture. It also causes split ends. I know some people cant stand stuff on their head and in this case you need to sleep on silk pillowcases. This will prevent your hair from becoming so dry and brittle that it breaks off. The last thing is something that for some reason black women absolutely hate doing but GET REGULAR TRIMS. It is hard to grow healthy hair without getting regular trims. You need a trim every four to six weeks. Not only will your hair look healthier but it will be healthier. Not trimming your ends causes split ends to travel up the hair shaft and eventually break. Leaving hair thin and weak looking. So the first time might be hard but trust me you will be glad you did. Below are pictures of one of my clients who actually does all these things. As you can see she has gorgeous hair. I know it all seems like a lot to do but once you start afterwhile it will become second nature. Alright ladies enjoy......

L'Oreal's Micro Liner Ultra Fine Eyeliner..... Check this out.......

This is probably the skinniest eyeliner ever. For the precision of a liquid liner in pencil form, L'Oreal's Micro Liner is definitely the best choice. Me personally, I loved it for my water line and it lasted without smearing but I cant see myself paying ten dollars for a drug store eyeliner. Ummmmmmmmm not going to happen. Great product but I personally don't feel that is worth the buy. Yes this liner is about ten dollars and can be purchased at your nearest CVS.  I think that is all I'm going to say about that lol. Enjoy.............

Project Makeover Strikes Again........Check This Out!

This young lady wanted makeup but something very simple. So for her eyes I did neutral colors from the BH Cosmetics palette. I did a dark chocolate pencil from Almay for her liner. I used NYC Sun to Sun all over bronzing powder for highlight and blush. I used Rimmel GlamEyes Lash Flirt for the mascara. And as a foundation I used Revlon's Custom Creation for an accurate foundation color and her match was midway on the number five. Last but not least I used NYC Nude York City lip shine. Enjoy...........

The Perfect Tinted Moisturizer......Check this Out!

So I went to Sephora on Monday with my cousin and while we were there she decided to try a tinted moisturizer that she heard about. The assistant, Marquita, was more than willing to assist her in trying on the tinted moisturizer. I must admit it looked great but I got a sample also, just to try it for myself. So today I finally decided that I would try it and I must admit I have nothing but good things to say about this tinted moisturizer. It is from the Laura Mercier collection and the shade I had was Mocha(oil free). This is by far was the best tinted moisturizer I have ever used. The application went on smoothly. It wasn't heavy at all. The color was a perfect match. It left my skin soft and the light coverage lasted for hours. Even down to removing it was an easy process. It was just like my very own skin but softer. This is hands down my new favorite tinted moisturizer. Like I said, I only had the sample but I definitely intend to purchase this product. It is forty dollars a bottle but the tubes are pretty big. You only need a very little bit when applying this moisturizer so it will last a very long time. This product is worth every penny. I must say the rumor was true. So if you get the chance stop by Sephora. You will not regret it. Below are before and after pics and I actually have a review video to upload but I'm working with a different camera so it might be a few days before I actually upload it but I will keep you all posted. Enjoy...................................

ATTENTION ALL MAKEUP LOVERS!!!!!!!!!...... CHECK THIS OUT......

CVS is having a huge 75% off sale on cosmetics. I guess they are preparing for new items so they have a lot of items for buy one get one 50% percent off, buy one get one free and 75% off original retail price. For the items that are 75% off you have to look and pay close attention because the signs aren't big like the other ones. They have little orange stickers on each of the items and it has to have a sticker to apply. Even if you have two items in the same color and brand and only one has a sticker. The one with the sticker will be 75% off the other will be full price. Later this week I will do a haul video but I just wanted to let everyone in Saint Pete know about the sale. Enjoy........................
