One of the first things I realized when doing and learning about make up is that bright colors actually look good on dark skin. Naturally, those are the colors that most of us(dark skinned people) tend to shy away from. When I figured this out I went on a search to discover exactly which bright shades were for me. The first color I discovered was blue. For the most part I've noticed that pretty much any shade of blue shadow looks good on me(when blended well). So my first blog suggestion is going to be for a fun sort of spring palette by cover girl from the eye enhancers collection in FARD ACCENT. Eye shadow beginners this is a must have for the spring season. I think I purchased it a walmart. For this look I used a combination of the teal(on the inner corners of the eyes), and the darker blue(the outer corners of the eyes). Unfortunately, since I did this look yesterday I can not post a tutorial video but I can post pics of the product and the finished look. Also to finish the eye I used a covergirl eyeliner and a gel liner by Sonia Kashuk. Enjoy ladies..........
This blog will be about make up tips, suggestions and tutorials for dark skinned teens & women. Im so glad that you decided to join me today. As stated in the description, this blog is geared towards women of the darker skin tone. Feel free to ask questions and make suggestions. I'm still learning my way around this thing so it might be a little weak at first but I will do my best to do continual improvements. Enjoy.....
