MLK DAY MAKEUP!!!

I used so many colors for this look that there is no way I could post the process and I didnt do a tutorial this time. I just thought it would be nice to post the pics. This is a duplicate, sort of remix look that I got from LaCinda on Youtube. It was her Valentine's Day look. So if you want sort of an idea of how to do it you can look there. Its not exactly the same because I put my own spin on it but you will get the point. I hope you enjoy........

       

MOHAWK SHAWTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Hey everyone I'm back with another styling option for short hair, the mohawk. As long as your hair is reasonably short, this hairstyle is very easy to do and takes very little effort. Honestly, this is my "go to" hair style when I'm too lazy to do my hair or I'm short on time. Once Ive shampooed my hair, I make sure I follow up with a conditioner because with all the coloring and relaxing I do, my hair is starting to dry out a little.<<<< But that's another blog entry lol.  Anyway, once Ive finished conditioning my hair I blow dry it about halfway dry. I then take a little foaming lotion or wrap lotion and smooth all my sides up. I hate sitting under the dryer so after I smooth up the side I add a little oil or grease and tie it down for about an hour(usually while I'm getting dressed). Once I think that it has set I untie it and take my small flat iron or curling iron and begin to bump all of the hair in the middle going inward so that the curls are all facing the middle of my head. I do that all the way to the top of my head and once I'm finished, I run my fingers through the curls to finger comb them so they don't look so "set". This particular style will last me anywhere from a week to two weeks and I only have to bump it about every three or four days. I love this style and its super easy. I find that I can dressed it up or punk it out. It is very versatile. So if you want to change up your cut for a while this might be the style for you. Alright ladies enjoy..........

FALL HAIR COLOR CHANGE....BLAZING BURGUNDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO I HAVE COMPLETELY CHANGED MY HAIR COLOR. IN ABOUT A MONTH, MAYBE MONTH AND A HALF I WENT FROM JET BLACK HAIR TO BURGUNDY. I CAN SAY THAT THIS WAS A CRAZY PROCESS BUT I ACTUALLY LOVE IT. THE FIRST THING I DID WAS I COLORED MY HAIR PLUM. THE BOXED COLOR I USED WAS FROM TEXTURES AND TONES. FROM THERE ABOUT TWO WEEKS LATER I DID A RINSE IN THE COLOR INTENSIVE RED BY ADORE. I DIDNT LIKE THAT COLOR SO MUCH BUT IT GAVE SOME LIFE TO THE PLUM I HAD GOING ON. THEN THIS PAST WEEKEND I CAME UP WITH THE BRIGHT IDEA TO DO BLAZING BURGUNDY. I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE THE IDEA CAME FROM BUT IT SEEMS TO BE A HIT. ITS STILL GROWING ON ME BUT EVERYWHERE I GO I HAVE RECEIVED COMPLIMENTS FROM MEN AND WOMEN. I JUST WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT BECAUSE JET BLACK IS BORING AND EVERYONE IS WEARING THAT. IT SEEMS TO BE WITH MY SKIN COMPLEXION THE BURGUNDY STANDS OUT AND MAKES MY FACE LOOK BRIGHTER. SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CHANGE IN APPEARANCE, START WITH HAIR COLOR. I WILL SAY THOUGH, IF YOU ARE USE TO DARK HAIR START SIMPLE AND THEN WORK YOUR WAY UP. YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO WEAR THE COLOR WITH CONFIDENCE. AND IF I HAVE TO RECOMMEND A BRAND I WOULD DEFINITELY SUGGEST CLAIROL'S TEXTURES AND TONES. MAKEOVER BEAUTY OF THE WEEK.....

I DID THIS LOOK FOR THIS YOUNG LADY, LAMEKA, SOME TIME AGO BUT I FIGURED THE BEST WAY TO GET BACK INTO MY GROOVE WAY TO POST A MAKEOVER. WE STARTED WITH A COMPLETELY BARE FACE. THE PRODUCTS I USED FOR HER FOUNDATION WAS MAC STUDIO FIX LIQUID FOUNDATION. FOR HER EYES, I USED THE BH COSMETICS NEUTRAL AND MATTE PALETTE. TO SHAPE HER EYESBROWS I USED A WET N WILD BROWN EYLINER AND MAYBELLINE CONCEALER IN THE SHADE CAFE. FOR LASHES WE USED EXTENSIONS USING ARDEL FLARE SHORT BLACK. I WILL ADD THAT THE EXACT SAME LOOK CAN BE ACHEIVED WITH DRUGSTORE BRANDS SO FEEL FREE TO SUBSTITUTE.
